drive shaft extension

Ok so i bought a 6inch suspension lift for my 87 ranger from a buddy and i was wondering if i had to lengthin my front drive shaft it is a dana28 rite now but have a dana 35 i was going to swap in as
i installed the lift

If you were putting the D35 in without a lift, you would actually have to shorten the driveshaft. However with the lift, you should be fine.
