Drilling pitman arm?

Like I said in above post. Contact member Destroyer93 (something like that). I sold him my Xcut reamer. Maybe he'll let you rent it from him instead of buying it for $100+

I bought my xcut off an ebay store for $81 shipped.

Thanks guys! I actually found a machine shop to taper my pitman arm. There really isn't enough material for an insert. I figured I'll let someone else ruin their reamer!:)

I decided to use the insert for my knuckles because I can choose to run knuckle over or knuckle under steering. I am most likely doing knuckle under though.

Why knuckle under?

Yea, the point of the inserts is to go knuckle over....better steering clearances.

Yeah no need for inserts if running UTK steering, which is the same as stock. If staying full width one could use the stock tie-rod and stock TRE's....

I thought knuckle under was the knuckle was UNDER the steering??? But to make it less confusing the steering will be on top...so the knuckle is under right?

Anyway, I took it to the machine shop last Thursday and I went to the machine shop today (they will never call you when your stuff is done) and my crap is still sitting on the floor where I left it. I was tempted to grab it and leave but I am going to find another machine shop first.

Nope lol. UTK, no inserts stock linkages and TREs can be used (or reamed a hair and could use the GM 3/4 ton stuff too, or heims with respectable clearance like below):

OTK (needs reamage or drilling and inserts):
