drive it till it breaks, fix it, and drive it again!
is there an oil drain plug torque spec? i ask this because after i changed my oil recently, there is a leak at the drain plug, and the plug is plenty tight, i even cranked it a little further and its still leaking...what could be the problem?:dntknw:

i've never heard of any torque specs. i'm sure you might be able to find one, buttttt... tight by hand is all you need to go. If it's leaking, try buying a new washer that goes on the drain plug. Any parts store will sell them, just get a copper one that fits your plug.

Yep, the copper crush-gasket SHOULD be good for many many oil changes... unless the previous guy over-torqued it, and squashed all the squish out of it... themz highly tek-nikal terms, you ken look 'em up. ;')

Sounds like you need a gasket for the drain plug as stated. Just snug is all they need to be.
