I was definately impressed with my truck today.

I was borrowing a buddies garage to change my clutch and slave today, but first we had to get the not running tractor out of it... after kinda snowblowing a path for the tractor, I hitched on with a tow strap and let er buck... Dragged it a good 30 feet (and I mean dragged, it had 3 flat tires and a next to seized differential). I finally got hung up and couldn't get enough traction to drag it through a snowbank. Needless to say, I am very impressed with both my truck and my tires... they absolutely chewed up the snow and ground. With unlocked axles and a 3.0L!

I didn't get any pictures, but here is a pic of a very similar tractor off the net (minus a big linkage for a front plow, and with too much air in the tires)...

It was a massey 30, which according to the net weighs about 4300 lbs.

Frozen water in the transmission case will act a lot like a locked up diff.

You were doing really good dragging that with a locked rear, normally it is my old tractor tugging my stuck truck out. :icon_thumby:
