Drag Racing with I-beams?


That would have even less suspension travel...

I honestly haven't paid attention to the older sway bar setup that was in the radius arms, depending on the setup it could limit the down travel...

Looking at your pictures though I have to imagine that the shocks might be the limiting factor, the 4x2 shocks aren't all that long, doing something as simple as moving the upper shock mounts up and putting longer shocks in to allow for more down travel might solve more than anything else...
 
I was just looking for a tweak to the existing front suspension. If I was going to do extensive work I have a Jegster front clip that would work but would lower the front ride height a huge amount. Problem then is I would have to modify the rear suspension and that's just more $$ I don't have LOL......

I think you could get by with some longer softer springs and longer shocks to get more droop, sure you could get more crazy but I bet you could gain 4" of down travel with springs and shocks...
 
I just noticed the 350 chevrolet, if you mount it in the rear as ballast the added traction will lift the front end higher.
