Threw a DPFE code. I replaced the DPFE, twice, and it keeps throwing the code. I attempted to test the last DPFE and it came up with a high voltage. Does anyone have any clue what may be causing the P1401 code? I find it hard to believe that 2 new DPFE sensors are bad out of the box.

Thanks in advance.

My 97 did this a few years ago. I replaced the vacuum hoses to and from it and problem solved

Is it possible you're measuring at the input voltage wire? There should be three total - a ground, 5V input, and signal output. If you're getting 5V on the input wire that's no problem. If you're seeing it at the output wire with the engine off, I'd be looking for a short between the two wires somewhere in the circuit.
