Double din question

I want to install a double din in my 08 ranger ,I was told that I once I Trim the bezel, the factory radio would not fit properly back in the bezel. Does anybody know if that is true. Thanks.

If you're wanting to install a double din then why would you care if the factory radio will fit back in?

There is a tech article (electronics) write-up on the double din install, the after market bezel requires a small amount of material to be removed from the factory trim to get the bezel into the opening. The material is removed from the top & bottom only, not the sides where the spring clips hold the radio in place.
