I am looking for model years that doors will fit 1984 Ford Ranger with direct bolt on.
Thanks
I tried to search here, either the website will not let me as it gives me
the advance search page or its my browser,,IE 8..

according to the LMC catalog, door skins, hinges, etc. are all the same for 1983-88 ranger pickups. they changed in 1989 it seems. so doors from those years should work. and they are different from the bronco II's of the same years.

I think 89-92 will still work, but they have a different inside door panel... so you will need to get both or have a goofy looking interior.

yup, any door from 83-92 will fit....just the inside door panels are different.

The internal structure of the door is different 1989-92, the door has provisions for a 5" speaker

Avoid Vent window doors, the vents don't work for shit, (other than make a lot more wind noise) have a frame that rusts and in rainy weather they leak!

Additionally the vent window doors don't control the motion of the glass as well as the non vent window doors.

You'd think with that front frame the window would be guided by the track... it isn't,
the top front corner of the only engages the track in the last two inches of upward travel and because of aerodynamic effects it is often impossible to close the window completely if you are going faster than 60-65mph, because aerodynamic forces "suck the windows outboard of the front track and if you keep cranking you can break the glass.

Lastly the vent window frame obstructs vision compared to the non-vent doors.

As for power windows? be aware that the entire wiring harness must be changed out to install them and the motors and their attached gearboxes are failure prone

Absolute last note.

Avoid doors from a 1992 unless you plan to rob the latch assembly and internal latch handles from an '89-91.

1992 ONLY ford used a pull cable that is breakage prone.

all earlier doors used a push rod that is far more reliable

Well gee Allan, I love my B2's Vent windows compared to my dad's non vent Ranger....

p prefer the vent windows too because my windows have a hard time seating at freeway speeds.....i guess it would help if the track was attached to something

Thank you for the detail search help

Thank you very much for your thoughts on the doors
My truck is a simple truck so I will avoid the side vents if I can and also the Electric Windows as mine are manual.
I can use my panels on the inside so that is not a problem
Thanks again
