doors rattle while going down the road

This is the most annoying thing about my truck any idea why my doors rattle?

The doors will rattle in my choptop when I get over 60 mph. I'm reasonably sure that the reason is the bias-ply tires I'm running and the fact that the door seals are worn out. Without their pressure against the door to hold it tight in the lock mechanism, it rattles. Of course, it could also be a worn door latch.

Rattling - like the door in the jamb? Or rattling like something internal? My '88's door jamb gaskets were worn out. The window trim was falling apart. I bought the anti-rattle kit from LMC Truck and it made a world of difference.

I can slam my doors as hard as I can and they will still move which one you think is the jamb or the seals or both

Probably a combo of both.

Mine rattles but it needs new seals and the locking mechanism needs to be adjust a bit. It's something I've learned to live with until I can get to it.

The Door Striker Bolt maybe worn out. Simple fix is wrap wire or duct tape around the bolt. Permanent fix is buying new door striker.

Door striker has a plastic bushing on it that wears, breaks, falls off. Complete striker with bushing is available at auto parts places with the misc parts boards, easy to replace and solves the problem.
