doorless?

all you need to do on a ranger is install aftermarket door hinge pins. they drop in from the top and can be removed in a few seconds for door removal.

any parts store should have them on the shelf...it's been a while, but shouldnt be more than $20 for 4 pins.

I hope you are only doing it offroad, in anything but a jeep its illegal to drive without doors.

yup, expect to get a rather large ticket, in most states, if you are caught without doors on a vehichle that wasn't made to take em off, I got stopped more than once in my ranger without the doors on, luckily they were all just warnings. Now that I have a jeep, no worries.

if i get killed in a wreck because i had my doors off thats my buisness. its not like my lack of doors is going to present any increased danger to anyone else. bullcrap...

on most vehicles the doors provide integrity to the body when closed. Also, in rangers there is no lip to keep things from rolling out when the doors are open, on a jeep there are, I would hate to be in a side, or front for that matter, impact collision in a ranger with no doors on...

i realize that, and its exactly my point. im the only one that is at risk from no doors, it should be my prerogative.

Take your time paleblue and find some old doors from the pick-n-pull and do like I did for mine........

Total cost was around 75.00 total, and I still have some kind of protection in case of a roll over. I can see a ton more with those on, but you will freeze your butt off in cold weather.......

check ur local laws, i know in NJ aslong as i have mirrors i can run wihtout doors no problem
