Anybody know where he went to?

I myself am m.i.a. often, but I cringe at this one.

anybody have a number or contact for him.?.?

He signed off on his last post December 23, 2015...

***************************************************
Well Men......thanks for being great friends all these years.........

But...."I'm signing off".......PTSD Sucks..........

Jesus loves you Guys!

******************************

His last activity was January 2016...probably signed in and looked around...but didn't post.

Sorry but I don't have a way of contacting him other than his account...maybe some of the people he met in his area during the banner heydays might know how to contact him...but I don't remember reading anything about who was in his area back then.

Maybe you can contact the local police department...they probably know of his vehicle because it was so unique...but maybe not so unique in his area...and not sure if he'd appreciate that kind of attention...so check the banner member map to find anyone around him that might still be active or have left contact information other than their TRS account.

Reading through that was difficult for me even now...I can't imagine what DG was going through and how he held together for another three years after so much tragedy.

I hope and pray he is finding peace...

i may have some stuff to do near him and wanted to meet/greet....

i just hope he is still kicking.

Wow, I also just re-read the entire post. What a supremely sad yet very uplifting saga. Awesome bunch of guys on this Forum. My heart broke and also swelled with pride at the prayers and support offered to Doorgunner and Jason. I am very proud to be a member here.

He personally ran the first banner (I think it was the first one anyway) around quite an area for people to sign it.

The only member I remember down there was baddad but he fell off the map before doorgunner.

EDIT:
Found the map, no regular members down there. Agpete was the closest in Texas but he hasn't been around for awhile either.

Thanks for looking into that...I had a message from Agpete that I recently deleted but it was his TRS PM account so it wouldn't get me too far.

How about the TRS Facebook page? Is that still active? I haven't been there for a long time since it was mostly about Ranger Militia stuff...

Hopefully he comes by and says hi sometime.

We hope he comes back. Awhile back his son-in-law died and he really loved him. I wrote him a poem to help ease his pain. He told me it helped a bit. I am a DAV Life Member, and an American Legion Life Member and I live in chronic pain from several severe injuries. I will never be the same, but I have a lot of love in my heart and a of family and friends and pets to pull me through it all.

COME BACK BROTHER!!!

If you had his license plate number you might be able to find his location through the dmv. there are a few guys in law enforcement that could do that on here. Then someone could contact him by snail mail, it should be done discretely of course. Another idea might be the va. but you would have to know his full name etc. Just my two cents.

Good idea Martin...I don't recall seeing his plate number from the hundreds of pics he posted over the years...most guys are pretty careful about not showing that.

Might be worth looking for one and starting there.

At the beginning of his build I did see the plate of the minivan hauling his truck to get painted... didn't know how legal that was.
