been trying to figure out the details for converting my '88 2.9L to propane.

the idea i have is to basically run a line from the tank to a regulator to bring the pressure down to about the same as the gasoline pressure is in the fuel rail. then run the line to the stock regulator and plug the return line. and basically use the stock set up from there. basically i am curious if this would work or not.

it would def. be trick sh*t if it would work.

nope wont work. you need to disable the fuel injection and you need an ECU that changes the ignition timing to run Propane. LPG works best on carb'd engines set up only for LPG. dual fuel systems with carb and propane work with a carb and there is a kit to use LPG with Fuel injection but it doesn't work well.
