Donor vehicle?

How much do you guys usually spend on a donor for the BII upgrades?

I'm considering a 92 exploder right now. 110,000 miles on it.

It depends on what your end result wants to be. I have a 92 exploder for a donner, that I paid $700 for. I had a 94 Exploder that I traded in months before, That I wish I'd kept now, for this purpose. I paid $1800 for it, and it was in awsome shape.
My sudgestion is take your time and look around. Find the best price you can, for the best quality. I wouldn't personally spend much more than $1200 or so for the purpose of stripping it down. At least around here in my neck of the woods.

I paid 2500 for a rust free Explorer in Central New York a little over a year ago... Then again you probably wouldn't pay 2500 with intentions of stripping it down... I vote 500-1000 range so you can recover most, if not all of the investment by selling parts and scrap after.
