Those lights are ground side switched. Somewhere, you have bypassed (shorted) the switch with water. Check inside the doors (near the latch), and under the third light for moisture. Those are the most likely spots, but the short could be anywhere. Drying it or removing the fuse are the only cures.

Dude, it sounds crazy, just try this...
Spray the hell out of the door lock mechanism with WD-40, and open and close your doors a dozen times (12x) each.
This has helped me on 3 different Rangers regarding that dome light. Hope this helps.
