anyone near winston-salem? my girlfriend got a job teaching, now the job hunt for me starts! i got two weeks!

If you are like my best buddies son, he couldn't wait to get out of that state. Real toss up between the taxes, idiots or the stupid rules, which is worse. I moved from Ill Annoys big city to central Wisconsin, complete different culture and way of life. You'll probably have the same good luck. Best of luck, now it not really a good time to find a good job.

winston is a cool place. my family used to have a giant tobacco farm north of winston for the last 200 years. it just recently got sold and turned into a subdivision.

you're about 1.5 hours from me, i'm in raleigh. but jammer lives over there lol get ready for the heat!

lol, i dont mind heat... its the fricken $700 a month heat bills during ny winter that kill me! and im a relocated canadian to new york, sooo.... i guess im a relocated canadian-yankee? lol. i think everyone wants out of new york state.... it sucks here! thanks for all the good luck, hope it helps!

oh, and the job thing... thats why were moving, she has her masters in teaching, but no job openings for what she wants to teach in the 3 states surrounding us! im pretty well rounded, so im hoping it'll be easy to find a job around there.

90% of the New Yorkers that move to Central Florida are the ghetto dwellers who speak broken english as their 2nd language. Puerto Rican bumper stickers are all over creation here and these fools drain the entitlement system and breed at an alarming rate.

Moving will save you some money and you can always pretend you have Alzheimer's and can't remember anyone's names in your new hood...
