So here's hoping someone else might get a laugh out of this.

I was in need of the length of the front drive shaft from a 1st gen explorer, and there was one for sale down the road here, so I decided to go look at it while I was out there to put the deposit on my 1-piece shaft for the conversion.

Got out of my truck, laid down on the storm drain, scooted under it, and hear clink, thunk, splash. Got out, turned over, and my keys AND phone are down in the puddle at the bottom.:annoyed: Got them out, and now using my old phone, but still one of those things that makes you go grr.

Got my numbers though!!

Well to be honest yea I do get a laugh out of that, only because I've been there done that! Was mad for a few until I got my stuff back then had a good laugh about it.

Yup, I got my phone working again, so I'm laughing now.

thats great! i been there too. the other day i was shoveling sheet rock that we tore off the walls into a dumpster then i hear my phone ring....oh wait where is it?..... the bottom of the dumpster! must have fell out of my pocket while shoveling and ended up in there. wasnt funny at the time but now it is

i use to work for a company driving a forklift so one day a friend called me on my phone so i stopped the forklift and answered the phone and when i got done talking i put the phone done on the forklift and then proceeded to drive away while doing a burn out only to realize, after i got done doing the burn out i didn't have my phone any more because i did the burn out on top of my phone lol which which chewed it up into three pieces...

Well, can't say I've ever run over a phone. I think you win this thread Doom

I was helping my dad loading a b-train of wheat during harvest, finished the job no big deal done it many times before. Except i was missing my phone, must have lost it shoveling the last bit of grain into the auger.....up into the truck.......and off into someones loaf of bread lol

I wish I could laugh about mine... I always got mad and threw mine into some random hard object... like a gunsafe or something.

I don't break em anymore... but I went through like, 14 in a year.

I used to have some nice ones too

wow, sounds like you have some anger issues.

My dad puts his phones in his front pocket of his coveralls...and one day he bent down over a well to pull up a pump...splash! And that did not even teach him a lesson, this year while checking swaths he lost it again but we eventually found it under some rye.

my poor phone has been lost in a pond for 2 hours i found it by stepping on it and shoving it down about 6 inches in mud then on the way home on the highway (65 M.P.H.) my little sister "dropped" it out the car window and I ran it over and found it 30 minutes later mostly intact :yahoo: after I dried it out it still worked. a couple month's later I was cutting some limbs off a tree I bent over to cut the limb off and my phone went with it about two stories :icon_surprised:

I'll get some pics of it :icon_thumby:
