Does Anyone Know Where The Lowside Service Port Is?


Welcome to TRS, I am sure we could help you if we had a bit more information - such as make model and year of vehicle . . .
 
Sorry, I thought all of them were the same. I have 1998 Ford Ranger 2door Supercab 3.0 V6 Auto. The motor was swapped and the mechanic drained the coolant out. Thanks again!
 
If it is similar to my 95, there is a small black plastic cap on the left side of the engine compartment (while facing the truck). It is just in front of the A/C box. I will post a pic of mine in a few minutes . . .
 
Here is where mine is located, I believe it is the one you are asking about. I used this port to add a shot of R134A recently. Hope this helps...
