I posted a while ago about how I have a no start, but my injectors were firing, I had spark and I had fuel, along with fuel pressure. I wasn't able to work on my truck since then because school. I decided to do my timing chain since it was nosiey, and since my truck has 600,xxx miles on it I am back home now and have a week and want to try to get this thing up and running again.
Today I removed my timing cover (which I ended up breaking) due to me not noticing that a bolt was still in it. If anyone has a timing cover to sell me asap for a 2.9 please pm me ASAP.
But moving on I took some pictures of my water pump. Does anyone know what this is?? I was thinking that it could have been gasket sealer but it doesn't look like it.
Also I broke my harmonic balancer as well, the rubber on it was gone and it dropped to the ground taking a good chunk of the lip out on it. Today has been one of those kind of days.

So I have three questions, first is
Does anyone know what is on my waterpump
Second is does someone have a timing cover that they can sell me asap
The three is can I please also buy a harmonic blancer as well.
I really need to pick up these parts fast. Thank you.

I would try to get the timing cvr welded. I betcha most 2.9s and the Rangers they were in were melted down yrs ago. MA isn't kind to Rangers

Those are my fav autopart suppliers for stock parts. Love rockauto. I'm picking up hopefully both parts from a member on here.

The cover is gone as far as welding goes. It's far from worth it. I have a ac pulse TIG I wish I could just weld this bad boy up. I broke it bad, got into a little bit of a temper with my truck.

I'm going to flush out the motor big time to help get rid of whatever this is.
