Does 96 Ranger hood fit 96 B4000?

I would love a nice cowl hood on my B4000, unfortunately, I couldn't find any companies that make them for the Mazda's. Will a Ranger hood of the same year fit my 96 B4000?

It would probably fit, but might not look right. I believe the Ranger hood is much more square at the front where it meets the grill. If you look at your mazda fenders at the front then look at the ranger hood where it meets the fender you will see what I'm taking about.

If you're really set on having a cowl for your hood, there are plenty of after-market cowls available. With a little planning and care taken, they can look as good as a factory job. Did this myself to a few 1960's era Mustangs and Chevys.

Yeah it will work. The hood didn't differ between the ranger and the mazda till the raised hood of the xlt and edge came along in the early 2000s
