hi everyone,

i was on my way home from school today and my ram just started shaking. it did it for a about a mile, but would stop when i left off the gas. the shaking went away a little bit but then it started clicking really bad. it also seemed like it was losing power. my dad said it might be overheating. any other ideas?
thanks

(its a 1994 dodge ram 1500, 231,000 miles, i just changed the oil last week)

check your hubs, ujoints, ball joints, ext for wear. it sounds like the classic "jeep death wobble"

Ditto on the death wobble, that body style dodge is known to come down with that,

my brother thinks its missing(transmission). it'll shake when i first pull out then about 50 mph it starts again. he thinks spark plugs and wires might help.

what is this death wobble? i've heard about it but never found out exactly what it is
