With the GM-ish controls and AMC seats im going to about bet a conversion van or motorhome. Older motorhomes espicially are known to be a mismatch of parts like that. Vans not so much but who knows who the conversion companys contracted with in them days. Espicially with AMC going under around the time those were pry built they probably were doing anything for a few extra bucks

Agree, I'm thinking RV or conversion van. My bud has a 32' RV, Chevy chassis and driveline but the headlights are from a Ford Taurus.

They altered number on the inside of the plastic is common in injection molding. I used to help with it all the time for revisions. Most of the marks look to be date codes though. Had to stamp a new mark in every mold every month.

i was wrong on the jeep seats. same material but different seat design, totally.

My wrangler was still an amc, it was an 87. Alot of Ford parts were on that Wrangler and my 302 and c6 almost dropped in like the jeep was made for them. Radiator inlet and exit lined up, the exhaust was the same size and lined up, alot of the gages plugged into the Ford sensors and worked with no mods.

I had to cut and weld in motor mount arms but after that, it was so easy to swap

IIRC the last AMC designed part died with the JK, something with the door latch iirc.

i know the tj had the same latches as my yj and my cj5 but the 07 jk we had had normal pull handle with push thumb button, like a car. maybe something inside? who knows

my grandfather had an 88 XJ with dual power seats back in the day and they looked identical to that, switches and all, I can even find pics with that color and a similar pattern
