Just wondering if anyone has already done one or could give me a little information. I am looking to do a body lift and wondering if anyone knows what size of bolts and how many i would need to do this I think i could fab up my own bumber brackets or if someone has some designs all ready that would help too. Also my truck is a manual and not sure if you have to get a shifter extension or if it was optional? And any ideas for a steering extension? Thanks all help would be apreciated.

Well I did mine by myself in my garage in only a few hours if that. If you get the PA kit it should come with the bolts and some thread lock. I didn't use a shift extender either but i couldn't bolt the boot back down or every time i shift it would pop into 4x4. you have a different trans so... I would reccomend it.

use hocky pucks and tractor supply bolts

^^Don't.

Why piece together something that'll work when the full kit that has everything you need is so cheap???

some 2x2 steel tubing and new bolts will do the trick if you can match up the bolts which is a pain in the ass if your goin 5" or higher like i did, but a 3" works well and you can fit up to 33's with no problem. Shifter is no problem so dont worry bout that, it actually gives it a short throw kinda feel :)

why do a body lift at all....save for a suspension lift

^^I'd love to own a TTB/TIB truck......about half the price to lift it compared to my truck. I wouldn't BL a TTB/TIB truck. Just suspension it.

Someone quoted me above and I'm being lazy...so i'll answer here. Anywhere from $100 to $150 for a 3" BL of that vintege truck.
