I found this diagram that is supposed to match my ranger by vin/yr/make/model.

Can someone please clarify the distributor plugs??

Distributor plug 1-6 i have but 7-12 is not there?? Can anyone tell me what this secondary plug is for?? Why its not on my stock harness??

Also the ecu in my truck is an 8SD model, any background info on it would be greatly appreciated, as well as pinout.

Also this diagram shows the MAF was only in the california models, did this also have the MAP and/or barometric pressure sensor??

Mine was equipped with a MAP sensor only. Can i add the MAF to it?? VAM or MAF???

Thanx,
Jordon

That image with the two plugs is for distributor-less ignition. The two plugs in question are labelled "DIS Connectors". Definitely go with the link RonD gave you.

Wait... I thought the 2.3 went distributor-less in '89, yours is a '91?
