That pin for the slave cylinder hydraulic line is just a nightmare. I had the benefit of a removed engine to allow me the space to crouch inside the hood and took a flat head screw driver and hammer to chisel the pin loose. And to put it back on, I had to remove the bell housing to expose the slave cylinder and use a plumber's pliers to squeeze the pin back in..
I can't imagine getting that pin out and back in from underneath the vehicle which is the normal way of confronting this pin so I want to learn how to deal with this pin from underneath the car. I tried but I can't just pull out the pin from grabbing the loop end with my fingers. Maybe mine is stock and it's not easy to get it off. Are new ones easier and can be pull with just your hand? I saw on youtube some vehicles have a different kind of hydraulic line where you can use like a U fork or a flat head to press at the head to release the line. Can I change to that system?
