I threw the 15s back on her until I can throw the cash at mounting my other 17s.

Well at least I know what mines gonna look like lowered. For some reason 15s look small on the focus I want 17s so bad. On my ranger I wouldn't go any bigger than 15s. I'm not a fan of the tire stretch but I've seen it pulled of nicely tho.

Well I have exactly 1 month before FocusFest so this thread is going to see some action. I've got a list of stuff I want to do before taking it down there.

Coil on plug conversion
Header wrap (probably won't happen)
Mount SVT rear sway bar
Buy an HID kit
Mount new 17s
Repaint rims
Buy cam gears
Rewire my wideband gauge (it has a short somewhere)
Fix a squeak in the hatch
Weld my crank pulley
Possibly cut my Tein springs a hair
And a good wash, wax, and shampoo

Sweet man I'm gonna keep my eyes on it. I would love to go but I'm gonna wait till next year before I start hitting up the focus meets and shows. I got some light rust and a repaint due before I start showing it. Plus I atleast want a SVT front by then. Good luck!

I had a brand new 05 Focus for a couple years (baught it new), I still miss that little car lol. For a Stock 4 banger I sure made alot of bigger "faster" cars mad with it haha.

Got a little done today.

Welded the crank pulley, and reinstalled the steering column cover after replacing the ignition cylinder a month ago. And my 17s are loaded in the B2. Hope to have them mounted after work tomorrow.

Pulled my ps fluid reservoir bracket off and painted it. It had some surface rust.

Got tired of using Back to Black on the cowl vents so I painted them too. Painted black, they are primered in the pic.

And its amazing what you will find when cleaning your car. Found a PCV valve. Guess I need to replace it now. And some amber leds. New corner lights!

Also emailed my tuner for an update to run E85. Will only run it for events and dyno runs, then switch back to my 93 octane tune for DD use.

yep I still need to get me some of those too. Minus the LEDs. Always thought you had the triangle front ZX fog lights on your car but I can clearly see you don't, did you change that at some point?
