disciplerocks's B2 build thread

if those cats haven't been gutted, then there is about 200.00 from the scrapper.

That turbo ought to sound about like mine if ya use 2 1/2" pipe! Open up that straw!!

I just don't want it to be loud anymore. I outgrew that long ago.

I used a Thrush turbo I got from Copperhead85. It's got a mellow tone ya can hear. I like it on the trail, I can listen to the rpm when idling along instead of eyeballin the tach. Makes watching the trail a LOT easier! :icon_thumby:

I have used it to pull my truck into the garage and my donor across the driveway while doing my motor swap with no problems. Have not needed it on the trail. Plus everyone I go with has a nice one so haven't seen the need to invest in a good one yet.

Still dont have the muffler on, but I have one cat. It quieted it down enough to hear a scraping sound when idling. After giving it some thought, I think its the auto tranny spacer rubbing the flywheel. It wasn't flat like a manual one is. Didn't think anything of it when installing it.

Bleeding the clutch by yourself isn't an easy task. I've bled it twice and still have no resistance on the pedal.

A)You do not want that spacer in there for the flywheel. B) That style master/slave is a real pain to bleed. If you didn't bench bleed the master/line... sorry. Also, that style master/slave does have little resistance at all, and disengages/engages really close to the floor. Makes it interesting to drive at first. lol

Do you have a mighty vac ? If not you can borrow mine . It's what I use for brakes and clutches .

No, I read 2 writeups an neither said to. I've never messed with an internal slave before. I am getting steady fluid to the bleeder though...

Is the clutch just not disengaging then, or... :dunno:

I dont really know. The pedal just flops.
