disciplerocks's B2 build thread

I grabbed the manual hubs off it so I'm good to go. Now I am wondering if the calipers and rotors are a direct swap. I just replaced my pads and rotors on my D28.

ive read that you can use your d28 calipers. i would think you could use the rotors as well but not 100% sure...

Don't think you can use the rotors... IIRC the spindles are a different diameter, as is the rotor. Could be wrong though.

BII looks sweet though, gots to find me some 4" beam brackets for mine. What's next on the list? (minus 8.8 and 35)

Got off work today and decided to go ahead and swap out the axles. Got her all together for the most part.

Then hit up Autozone for some longer shocks and brake lines.

Still to do: install brake lines and bleed them, hook up steering components, shorten driveshaft, find bigger tires!

so you got the longer brake lines from autozone? how much were they? got a part#?

you also got the new bracket in on the drivers side too????

as for the front shaft...goto 2nd Time Around in Chandler....does awesome work, and he may even get it done while ya wait...

I called a place in Chandler called Driveline Plus. They said it would cost $40.

i may have to look into those. i just got the tube today to extend my radius arms and i already need them, with extended arms ill rip those stock lines in half in minutes!

yea, ill deffinetly have to get those if they're that cheap. i was looking into duff lines but i cant spend that much right now.

Lol. Yeah for some reason I didn't think about grinding those rivets off while the axle was out. I like doing things the difficult way. It will be replaced tomorrow.
