disciplerocks's B2 build thread

so if the sale of the tranny paid for the tires wouldnt you be able to afford the locker now? which means youd have to pull everything out again after just getting it together which would suck... but at the same time locker=yay!

Exactly. Now that its back together I am not in as much of a hurry for a locker. I know if I order one, as soon as I get it I'll want to pull it part again.

I cant get my power steering pump bled for shit. Haven't had power steering since the motor swap. I have tried 4 times. Jacked it up twice, then removed the tires, then removed the tie rod from pitman arm just to make sure I am getting full lock to full lock. Everytime I do it, I run it back and forth until I see no more bubbles then drive it. Then when I do it again, there's more bubbles. I have probably ran it back and forth about 200 times total.

any leaks anywhere? sounds like its time for either a pump or steering box

It runs over when turning back and forth fast, but not leaking.

I'm with Jon, I think you need a pump...

Ug I just got this pump from the u-pull. Was supposed to last me until I found a Saginaw.

Volunteered at Interlake today working on a new trail. Then ran a few trails before leaving. First time out with the 4.0 and 35s. Couple pics.

4.0=awesome
35s=awesome
unbalanced tires on the drive to and from=not so awesome
35s and 3.73s=unawesome
no power steering on the trail=even more unawesome

My shoulder is killing me.

Nice, thanks Greg.

Next chance you get, break the bead, and put 2 shot glasses full of BB's in each tire (8 to 10 oz.) Just make sure you do them all the same. That is how my old 36's were balanced and I ran 80 on the E-way with minimal shake.

Already picked up some .25g airsoft pellets for just that.

Lookin' good, Dustin! At least you've got 4.0 and 3.73's on there... Imagine the ol' 2.9 struggle!

I feel your pain. But most of my trouble with the 2.9 was lack of power on the highway, and no grabbing power on the clutch. Of course the power and torque of the 4.0 is nothing to complain about:D
