Disable Auto Stop/Start

i read that forscan deal lets you turn off that auto start junk. i hated it on our escapes and would immediately hit the button to turn it off as soon as i started the car

haven't been able to do so inasmuch as my efforts to try. The program wouldn't do so.
It's still a ridiculous program that takes the choice out of the hands of the driver to decide whether or not the engine should be shut off while momentarily stopped.

I makes sense to the tree huggers from an environmental stand point. Of course, they ignore the additional environmental impact that replacing the starter more often creates.

Also helps Ford get a better city mpg rating.

I just drive mine in sport mode normally around town. That turns it off automatically. Plus it doesn't shift as much. Makes no since to me going to 8th gear at 30 mph.
