dim headlights and hyper blinkers

Bit of an electrical gremlin, and I need to know where to set the mouse trap to catch him.

Here is the situations as they stand:

Low beams are so dim you cannot see them, high beam works fine. Passenger blinker blinks like crazy, driver side normal.

First the left highbeam burns out, shut the truck off, eat dinner, fire it up, and both lheadlights are burnt out. Run to Walmart, get the cheapo sylvania replacements out of the book, head home.

Low beams worked fine on the ride home.

Next day, low beams dim as hell, one highbeam burnt out.

ANy idea where I should start chasing this down?
