My transmission is difficult to shift unless I press in the clutch and let the rpm's drop for a second..then it will shift pretty smooth, 2nd gear is the worst. Reverse works fine. I replaced the clutch, PP, slave and throwout bearing about a year ago(12k miles). I could not get the pilot bearing out so I did not replace it. The tranny does not make a weird noises. I am running Mobil 1 full synthetic ATF in it now..........I did some searching about syncros..........so my question is. Does it sound like a syncro issue. if it is a syncro issue is it better to run regular ATF or maybe even a type F to make it less slippery or is it better to make it more slippery, maybe add some powdered graphite(read that online with mixed reviews)........any feedback would be appreciated
