Differential swap advice

well its a little more involved than that. telling ya though ...... I would swap that

The sad thing is, I have an absolutely BEAUTIFUL 1991 Mazda Navajo sitting in my driveway with what appears to be 95,000 miles and a blown A4LD (won't shift out of first on it's own). I would love to swap the axles from this truck but my other half is making me sell it. Anyone want a navajo engine and shell????

there ya go. strip it strip it strip it strip it strip it strip it....... put the engine and harness in the garage and use its axles. when you find a transmission use the engine. crush the body.

Wouldn't it be quicker to put the BII transmission in the navajo?? At least then I can say I went native:sexe:

it will bolt up and it might work. I have never gone that way. I think the 4.0L would tear it up.

That and it just ain't the same. Which is why the pretty Navajo will get scrapped in favor of the ugly (yet improving) BII. I love the thing but man, it looks like it has been ridden hard and put away wet.

where in Oregon are you? I lived in Tillamook, Timber, Vernonia, Forest Grove, and Banks

oh yeah, I left out Woodburn...... bad memories of my worthless ex wife and her cheap whore mother.

Really, it never ceases to amaze me. by the way, I have the Toyo Kogyo in the BII and had the FM145 (I think) in my 89. What manual did they use in the first gen explorers?

and by the way....it is always good to leave out and forget about Woodburn. Gotta be the biggest shit pile in the valley.
