Ok, so I have a 1999 Ranger (4.0L V6, XLT 4x4) that I rolled on the interstate, and am now looking to sell for parts or to part out myself. A guy called me asking if mine is compatible with his 1996 XLT, I guess to exchange some parts on it. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what if any parts are exchangable between the two. I appreciate any responses.

Anything but the front suspension.

Thanks for the speedy response man. Not that I doubt you or anything, but I wanna make sure I don't tell the guy anything inaccurate; do you by chance know where I can find some sort of confirmation of this, or have you done any work like this yourself?

I have done plenty of work on Rangers to know what interchanges. The only thing that is different is the front suspension, front fenders, hood, headlights, bumper, and core support.
