I was at one of the local junk yards and I found a cup-holder/ coin-holder out of a94 Taurus and since it is a single DIN size and my headunit is single DIN size I picked it up. I got it to work but required a fair amount of cutting so this in not a mod for the faint of hart about there Rangers.

At the top and bottom of the Ranger opening there is a lip all the way around the opening i had to cut this flush sorry I don’t have pic's of the install, also on the coin/cup holder i had to cut flush the lip on the top and bottom.

Now here is the last problem if you drive a manual like I do the cup-holders are kind of useless as your hand will be hitting what ever is in said cup-holder .

Very nice!
Just take a hack saw and cut that shifter a bit shorter and you'll have no problems :)
