Hey all,
I've made a couple different bumpers for my truck (92 Ranger, single cab, long bed, 2.9L). I made the first one and sold it to a friend who also has a 92 Ranger, however his is a 4.0L and an extended cab.
We went to go mount the bumper and noticed that the frame on his truck is NOT boxed (meaning it's like C-Channel) where as mine IS boxed (more like two C-Channels smashed together). The bumper wouldn't fit his rig because of where I had welded the mounts on it.
Question is...is there a reason to the different frames? I would have though that his truck with the 4.0L would have had a more boxed frame than mine with the stock 2.9L. Just curious.
Thanks
