I was searching through some craigslist posting when I came across this and wanted to share it with everyone...

(Note: I don't speak/read spanish so it might just say it is an engine swap somewhere in the listing or on the webpage... Oh well.)

Bronco

I was pretty interested when I first found the listing and information cause it would be a pretty interesting find, however upon closer inspection of photos it appears it is an engine swap I think. The gauges are standard "unleaded fuel only"

Regardless I just thought it might be an interesting thing to pass along to everyone.

The motor and trans are from a 2002 Hyundai Galloper. Power windows and steering, current inspection, 5 speed, electronic shift 4wd. That seemed to be all the relevant info...

Basically what he said... I gotta look into this 2.5L turbo diesel for my truck :D

if your gonna swap a turbo diesel, i say do a 6cyl cummins lol [would that fit in an rbv?]

Caterpillar needs to start making pickup engines, a C15 in a ranger would be sweet lol

Because a 6cyl Cummins would negate all the positives of using a small turbo diesel... See I'm not one that believes my truck needs 800ft lbs of torque... It has plenty of power for what I need and most small turbo diesels I'm looking at make about the same hp as a 4.0L and a good bit (usually at least 40-50ft lbs) more torque, BUT they can also get 25-30 mpg... Which, with my aux fuel tank I plan on putting in, pushes my driving range up and over 1000 miles... That means not having to carry 5 or 6 jerry cans, which if you've tried it is very difficult (the only good place for them is on the roof, and imagine something that heavy on top of an already tippy vehicle, not fun)...

i see your point, but i was only saying for me, not everyone else

You need a drivers license more than you need an engine swap.
