We remember that recall from how long ago? the one where your truck could catch fire...then everyone ran out of the part to fix it.... well, guess what, I didn't get it fixed until today and the only reason to have it fixed was the fire that started from it. Now, the service girl has called twice about repairs that will cost a large bag of coin. Really? I guess Ford needs more money than what the government gave them. Do they need to knock on my door?:bawling:

I don;t mean to pick your post apart, but:

If Ford put out a recall, it is not thier resposibility to come and pick it up from your house. You have to take it to the dealer, to have it fixed. Therefor if you fail to take it in, it is entirely your responsibility when it fails, as far as I see it.

And even if Ford did get the bailout, it is not to prevent thier customers from paying service fees and such. It is your bill, not Ford's. There is no reason they should be forking out the money.

Did you get a recall notice? If so and you didn't fix it right away it you who's stuck holding the bag.

Good luck with that.
