What size is the hub hole on a 1998 Ranger 2WD? Is it smaller that the 4x4 hole?

No it's not. The hub size is the same. However the 4x4 models did have 15 inch rims because the braking system is larger, and the 2wd had 14s because theres was smaller.

I know I'm bumping this a little bit but It came up when I did a search and I noticed it wasn't THAT old so I'll ask here.

I have a 2011 ranger 4cyl 5 speed 2wd with 15" rims...I'm pretty sure all rangers came with 15" rims for quite a while now, so my question is, will the Alloy rims from a 4x4 ranger be a direct bolt on swap for my current 2wd Steel ones? Thanks all.

Should Be, a friend of mine is even running Ranger alloys on a Toy-ota (I hate I had to admit that :)

My 14" deer hoofs that came on my 94 2wd ranger wouldn't fit over the center hubs of the wifes 99 2wd ranger.
The later 99 hubs are about 1/8" bigger in diameter than the 94 hubs.

I used a air style dremel an ground the alum wheel centers out about 1/16" all the way around about halfway thru the wheel thickness from the back.

Don't worry about it centering, the lug nut pattern is what does that. Her truck goes down the road smooth as silk.
