Decaf tea.

I love unsweetened ice tea. I drink it alot. I literally just found out tea has caffeine. Dont laugh, I knew tea had caffeine but I thought that was weirdo breakfast teas that British people deink. I never thought the stuff made for iced tea had caffeine too...

I went to the grocery store looking for decaf ice tea mix and found nothing.

Is this just not a thing? Can I just never drink ice tea again?

I still make my own herbal teas but those are just gross cups of hot liquid with random plants in them I use to cure random ailments not really a daily drink.

Yeah, it decaf tea is a thing. As a non tea drinker it seems pretty common from what I hear.

I make my own decaf iced tea. Just buy decaf tea bags at the grocery store. I boil a pot of water, turn the heat off, then drop in two tea bags per cup of water, put the lid on, let it sit for a half hour or so, and add some lemon juice. Then I fill empty Pure Leaf iced tea bottles with it and put them in the fridge.

I love iced tea too but I'm diabetic and can't drink sweet tea. And I drink a lot of it so I don't want the caffeine at night.

Most teas, and lots of plants, contain some level of caffine.

For most teas brewing the bags for a minute and tossing out that water and starting fresh with the used bags is enough to decaffeinate the end result.

Cold brewed tea has much lower caffeine content compared to hot brew.

Or get yourself to an Italian grocery store and buy some imported LaVazza. I got hip to that when I was in Italy. I get my LaVazza from Amazon.

I don't drink coffee, but I have access to a fairly steady flow of stuff from Santo Domingo. Not sure what' it's called but I have heard it described as Jet Fuel.

Coffee was messing with me for a little bit so I stopped and went to black tea with some milk. But now im back to coffee and im just fine again...... but I only drink water when its not coffee

I work random night hours. I have major sleep issues. Caffeine and sugar is the devil to me. If I drink coffee I'm not sleeping for 12 hours. And I need to sleep whenever I can.

I dont even eat fruit hours before bed because of the sugar.

I know a bunch of people who do edibles for sleep or a vape pen. In NJ I guess you can do them now, im not sure. And other people do that sleepy time tea. Im like an old fart now.... im in bed a 7pm to be up at 230am
