The trans mount on my 92 2WD with 2.3l & 5 sp is rusted through, any suggestions on finding a suitable substitute, from a different year or model. It looks to me that the early 90's had some series corrosion problems here in the midwest.

Thanks

Do you mean:
The crossmember itself?
The ends of the crossmember's rubber bushings?
The mounting brackets for the crossmember?

IF any of the above the simplest way is to discard that crossmember all together
AND it's mounting brackets and substitute the "L-shaped" crossmember from a Gen-1 Explorer or Gen2 Ranger 4x4.

This uses a SINGLE exsisting hole on the drivers side frame rail lower flange and the holes the the rivets that are currently are holding the passenger side bracket.

Yes, the crossmember, and the mounts for it are almost totally eaten through. What are the years for the "generations" that you mention?

Also, how about cab mounts? it looks like those are eaten up too.

Thanks,

John
