They have the same deal going on at summit racing. I bought my system a few weeks ago. I like the way it sounds. It has a great tone but it's not loud enough for me. It's a 4.0 sohc with 2.5" piping and a dynomax super turbo muffler. I have about 700 miles on it and it sounds pretty good, but I'm planning on switching out the muffler for a thrush welded to give it some more volume.

It shows a few different intermediate pipes on the website and i am confused on which one to get. The three they show are Dynomax and have a Manufacturer Part Number 43183 and 4318 and 44552.

Also one of those intermediate pipes plus this system will make it complete from the cats back?

Oh and it is for a 4.0 if that helps at all

Dynomax

Thanks Falcon. Ordered mine from Summit yesterday. I finally called the tech line to see which intermediate pipe I needed. She found the right one and hooked up my order right then.

These kits use a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. It's one of the more conservative/quiet performance mufflers available. If you are looking for something loud, this one doesn't fit the bill. But if you are looking for something that sounds almost as quiet as stock when idling, and just a bit throatier than stock when you floor the throttle, you will be pleased with this kit.

How good are the Dynomax exhausts compared to say, Magnaflow exhausts? PERFORMANCE wise that is. I don't necessarily care about the noise.

Oh and will the 98-2003 fit my 2006?

In terms of horsepower, there is no difference. Magnaflow is stainless though, so it will be more durable than the aluminized Dynomax.

I just put my cat backon today like you said 6-4 not alot of grumble but I get a nice rumble at cruising speed..anything was better than stock...any more deals you find???thanks

Summit had a deal on some of their thrush mufflers, they came with a free thrush bobblehead
