Just got a scan tool to clear the check engine light. It works on my 2007 Ford Fusion but not on my 2000 Ranger. Called the scanner help line and they say problem is more than likely due to no power to the Data Link Connector, (DLC). I do not see where there is a fuse for this test port. Any ideas?

Never mind as I just found the fuse location. It's 17, same as the cigar lighter. Scanner is working just fine now. WHEW!!!!

That's the case with most vehicles I've come across, Fords, GM, Nissan....might be a industry standard type of thing.
