Dash Smokin!!

I was driving to work the other day when my dashboard started smoking like crazy. I could smell wires cooking. It stopped after about 10 seconds, but lots of smoke made it interesting driving.
Now, my blower motor only works on HI. Could I have burned up my resistor? Everything else works in the truck. If so, how do I change it? I have a 94 Ex.

Oh yes, that sounds very much like your resistor fried.

It's in the heater box on the firewall side. Between the blower motor and evaporator.
