dash mod

so i had this ugley tin woodgrain crap around my gauges. i took a flat head screw driver and used that and my hands to peel it off. i cleaned it with hot water and soap to loosen dirt and any glue (there was none)

heres what it did look like

i wet sanded it with 400 grit and cleaned it up again.

next i applyed the frist coat of this

i chose black, it was $4.67 a can

i gave it 2 coats after i masked off the area for turn singles,oil,motor etc. lights.

here it is back in the truck

the ashtray was the same, so i did it too

What's the difference between import auto spray and regular spray paint? Does the import add hp or something?

it was cheesy, and rattled and it looked like my grandpa would drive it lol
