Have a few burned out bulbs in the dash so I've got it apart except for the shift indicator. I'm not sure how it comes off of the pod and I don't want to break the cable or pointer. Any advice would be much appreciated! 2011 Duratec A/T.

I think ot's easier to detach it from the shifter cable and just bring the inducator assembly out with the gauge cluster. Hang on. I can get some pictures real quick.

I was wrong. 2 little tabs and it unsnaps from the cluster. At least on some models. This is a '96 cluster.

One little springy tab by my thumb nail.

Tnx a bunch I got it apart this morning. Cleaned up the lens and other plastic bits to find that the replacement bulbs are too large. I order them from a reliable company that I thought would get me the proper part but... So I've been on line trying to find some leds for the late model 3rd gen Rangers and T5 pops up but they come in different sizes it seems. So what am I look for than an aspirin.
