Solex Carburetor for a 4cyl WWII Jeep.

The best thing was the woosh sound it made every time you hit the gas. I loved that truck, it made me laugh every time I drove it. It didn't have a floor pan on the driver side. I would stick my feet through the floor and it looked like Fred flinstone was driving.

My buddys latest purchase. He ask if i can fix it, i say ya but it'l just cost money.

he picked it up off some 18yr old kid who "built" this. Some farm boy from salem oregon

Cherokee front end, linked with sloppy tractor joints

Sweet floor plate reverse coil buckets with dual shock mounts and welded toy steer box

Custom 20" extended rear shackles

Sitting "comfy" on 33 12.5's

Ill make a build thread once i get it over to my shop and strip it of all its goodies lol. Plans are 35's 44 front 9" rear and 5.29's

Love how they reused the stock front shocks...

that is some scary shit. i LOL'd at the 20" shackles

Just because they sell welders to anyone, DOES NOT mean just anyone should use them:icon_rofl:

SAY.......you need another one just like it. What for you ask?

One to shit on and the other to cover it up.

Effing dumbass whoever built it. Hope he reads this. Must be all the Meth they are doing up there...:icon_twisted:

Well i'll be dipped. This stuff makes my handy work look professional. Some of this stuff is scary. To think i thought my coil spacers i made were janky.

This is what i used.

So there is my fabrication. Ohh and for a shock bolt on the rear in a pinch we took a piece of all thread, put red locktite on one end with a nut. Tightened it, let it set, stuck it through and put a nut on the other end with a washer. Ohh and the locktite end had a washer too. That little deal to this day is still on my truck and works great. Guys at the tire shop and my mechanic loved it.

Saw this on another website

That is how someone either tried to secure the heat shield or tried to stop a hole in the gas tank.... Smart.
