dangerranger1983 build

Yes that's what I want to do but due to having a kid on the way, it has pushed my wedding day to be sooner, get a two bedroom apartment, the need for a better job and the need for another vehicle. It's going to be a long while before anything else major is done to the truck again.

sounds like your really being a downer. i got married and it all took off from there had the mazda a couple days later and started building, then came the kid and it just ment to change directions with the project. now that he is gettin a little older i'm lookin into an extended cab swap with a single foward facing bucket !

I make 7.40 an hour and the fiancee makes 7.25. Thats the reason for not being able to do what I want to the truck.

Heres a picture of my current exhaust exits spots...

Why not run them under the crossmember?

I couldn't get a hold off an m5od-2. Will I could have but I didn't want the bw4406 transfer car behind it, all they had were f250s at my jy with that combo.

I pretty much gave up on finding one... then Twister drags one home for $50 :shok:

My C5 is the last non-OD trans in my truck, sure you can play with gearing but that kills your bottom end.

Life tends to be a big fun hater... my truck is being more or less put on hold. Hard to fix up a house and a truck at the same time. No wifey or little screamers either...

I am going nibble on it when I can, but it isn't going to be priority anymore.

I am going to have to make a new crossmember so that I can run a front drive shaft and having them up high will help insure that my new crossmember won't get in the way.

I dont think i would even attempt the swap with anything that didnt have overdrive, but otherwise looking good :icon_thumby:, keep up the good work

I'm not worried about buttom end, I have the granny low first and second gear is low too. Hopefully get a video of driving it soon, that is more then around my neighborhood.

Oil line plus engine belt equal major bleeding spree for the engine. Now I have an oil mess to clean up under the hood. Got it fixed real quick, there was my favorite farm store near me do got a dual barb connector and a couple of hose clamps and she is good as new.

Damn what a mess.

That will just help it with keeping it from rusting away.

that's a little bad luck with a little good luck mixed in with the oil line.

as for the money. alot of stuff can be done cheap by being resourceful. And there are good jobs opening up all the time up here, just have to be motivated, hard working and have a tinkin thing between the ears.

After I get the truck muffler on, I plan on going to go work at a place in town called Wabash National. They are constantly highering. They make semi trailers and its a factory job. My cousin just got on there and says it isn't as bad as people say it is. They are know to have a bit of a turn over rate and my cousin asked them why and their response to him was people getting injured on the job. The biggest thing is getting this truck quieter before driving it to much on the road or having to drive it to much while it is.

Looks like it is going to rain for the next few days due to the huricane that hit down south, so there may nit be any progress today.

On the other hand, I need to find better bolt on rotors, you can feel the weight of the truck now and it having a but of a harder time trying to stop. Maybe a master cylinder upgrade to an f250 one?

Got the muffler on. Its a folw master 50 series knock off for trucks and SUVs. @.25 inch dual in dual out. Will improve on the design as in how it is being supported and also have it dump out before the passenger rear tire.

It sounds better in person, my phone audio pickup sucks. Sounds great when driving and when you get on it.
