So im a memeber of a few ranger groups on face book, and it seems that not too many people on there know about TRS. It gets frustrating sometimes because they ask a large amount of questions that could be answered by a quick google search. Or by joining us here and its kinda sad because we could use the increase in membership here. I try and spread the word when i can but im not sure if its working. Also everytime i google something ranger related or almost ford related in general. i get links to here and its still surprising how much information is here.

What do you guys think..?

Facebook has been the death of lots of online forums. It'll only get worse. Myself, I quit FB except for occasionally logging in to check the marketplace for truck parts, then logging out and deleting FB cookies on my system. That's all it's good for in my opinion. FB is an extremely toxic place and it's known to affect people's mental health and mood. You know something is up when FB has admitted to running several different experiments on people. They're also working on ways to read your mind, which is utter nonsense, but that won't stop them from trying. Seriously, look it up. They're working on how to read brain waves remotely.

I finally just had enough of the spying and censorship. If the app is installed on your phone and enabled, it's ALWAYS listening. If you or I were to do that with an app we created, it would be illegal, but they get a free pass to do it because the government alphabet agencies also want that data.

Facebook addiction is real. It's hurting people's lives, and it's changing society for the worse at an alarming speed. You're only seeing the fake side of most people on that platform anyway. The side they want you to see.

the problem with the ranger pages lately is the amount of dumbass people that argue when you try to help someone out. and then attack you when you disagree with them because they are wrong. its gotten to the point ive started screaming at my laptop because someone feels the need to call me retarded and say my way is wrong.

ive found screaming obscenity's into my pillow helps to lower my blood pressure

Facebook is rediculous, it's what everything has moved to... back 10 years ago I had it figured out, it was simple, wasn't overtaking everything, was fairly simple... then it changed, I got in a toxic relationship and quit facebook because the ex and family didn't get along and I wasn't going to be a part of it... anyway, got back in it because that's the only way to see what's happening with friends and family anymore and it is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, I refuse to figure it out, it is not going to get me anywhere in life. I really have no idea how to work it and I'm ok with that... I really don't know how to work the groups and marketplace stuff, I try to since there's good deals out there to be had but damn... I keep hoping it will die off but I'm in the minority, I'm against gossip, politics, and skinny jeans so I don't matter...

without facebook, twitter, or even a cell phone, I frequently drive 5-1/2 hours one way in the middle of the night from Ohio to upper Michigan just to gaze at the night sky in hopes of seeing the Auroras.

it's fun being retired.
