Dana 60 SAS leaf questions

i have a 1 ton hydroboost

its plenty stoppy.....

Sweet I will most likely be around your way later this week to pick up my tires in Middleville. A buddy of mine that went to collage with me at Tech has a set of 38x20 skreed tires that he use to run on his 1 ton chevy before he got his 47’s. They are 16” rims that I will mod for my bolt pattern. You remember my old rear tires? Well I will soon be spinning 38 versions all the way around.

you will be able to go fishing in it:icon_thumby:

LOL.

The floatation for winter wheelin in the U.P. should be awesome.

I run a hydroboost out of an astrovan and master from a 1976 corvette (4W discs).
The master doesn’t move enough volume. So I am going to a P30 motorhome master, I rode in a truck with that setup and he could lock up 42’s at will.

p.s. You really should coil spring and link it

I'm running the master cylinder from the '91 F350 that the D60 came from. It was a direct bolt on, except for the lines were on the opposite side of the master. No big deal.

Got her moving on her own power yesterday, wow that suspension is ubber soft. Granted I don’t have shocks on it yet it. Flexed it out with the fork lift and man does it flex. More then before, didn’t go until it lifted a tire as the front fenders need to be trimmed more and they where eating the tire.

Have deduced that I will need a master cylinder to move more fluid after just having the front brakes working. Run brake lines to the rear axle, shocks, weld the rear, make anti wrap bar, and general clean up and she is ready to go.

Then 5.38 gears and a front locker. Pics to come after she is complete. It looks Ridicules!!!

I can't believe you've ditched the TTB. This is a huge change in your life.

So you've only got the motor, trans, and t-case from the B2. It's only a matter of time before you're running a 302/435/203/205, and the B2 will be dead...lol.

Can't wait to see the pics man. :icon_pepsi:

I don't think the D35 would've held up too well with the huge rubber going on it.:icon_twisted:

But yeah, anxiously awaiting the pics!

I like looking at the cardomain pictures of going from stock to where it is now. It amuses me :icon_rofl:

Also waiting for the pictures!

Not untill its done, LOL.

After flexing it all the way out after cutting the fenders shock placement is a little difficult. My 15” travel shocks are going to limit my suspension a little. Without shocks I measured 26” of front travel. Should be around 23” with the shocks. Should be done with the towers tomorrow. Also getting a F 350 master cylinder, and doing the rear shocks. Then paint all the shit I just made and then its pic time.

Oh and ya Brian, BB1T.

i used trailgear leafs and outboarded the springs, still fullwidth. for brakes i have the abs explorer booster with 350 master.
