Dana 44 leaf spring to coil spring

Has anyone changed a dana 44 leaf spring axle to a coil spring axle with out changing the hole axle, just the mounts if so can so one point me in the right direction. I have the weld on C's just need to know the distance between them.

just grind off the perches and weld on your wedgies ( i thats what you meant by c's) Im not sure about width but i would do a mock up with your arms and where you want to mount them and go from there.
